The obvious daytime pairing is the Hòn Thơm cable car, which runs from Sunset Town out over the sea to Hòn Thơm island and is billed as the world's longest sea-crossing cable car. The ride itself is a highlight — long, high and right over the water — and it lands you at beaches and a water park on the far side. Doing the cable car in the afternoon and staying on for the evening and the show is the classic way to make the trip south pay off.
The Kiss Bridge and the promenade
Sunset Town is built for an evening stroll. The Kiss Bridge — a photogenic pedestrian bridge reaching out over the water — is the signature spot, and the promenade around it is lined with restaurants, bars and Mediterranean-styled architecture designed for exactly this: a slow wander at golden hour before the show. It's worth arriving with time to walk it rather than turning up just for the fireworks.
The other show: Kiss of the Sea
If one show isn't enough, Sunset Town's other headline production, the more theatrical Kiss of the Sea, is right here too, and combo tickets bundle the two. They're different enough — one an open-bay stunt-and-fireworks show, the other a seated narrative spectacle — that seeing both across an evening makes for a full, varied night rather than a repeat.
Dinner and drinks
The promenade and the streets behind it are where you'll eat, with everything from Vietnamese seafood to international restaurants and bars along the waterfront. Timing matters: places fill before the show, so either eat early and head to your seat, or hold dinner until after the fireworks when the crowds thin. Either way, dinner-plus-show is the shape most people's Sunset Town evening takes.
Fitting it into a Phú Quốc trip
Most visitors base themselves up north near Dương Đông and the main beaches and treat the south as a day-and-evening trip: cable car, southern beaches, dinner and the show.
