Why book a ticket
It's a proper tech spectacle, not a folk show
Symphony of the Sea is modern, loud and fast — synchronised lasers, projection on water screens, low-level fireworks and, the part everyone talks about, professional jetski and flyboard athletes carving across the bay mid-performance. It's closer to a stadium light show staged on the sea than to a traditional cultural dance, and it plays to that: high energy, big finish, over quickly.
The ticket buys a clear view, not a secret
Worth being straight about this: the show plays over an open bay, and you can catch some of it from around the Sunset Town waterfront for free. The GetYourGuide ticket gets you into the Sunset Beach viewing area, and two upgrades add somewhere to sit: a reserved table at Bacio Restaurant beside the Kiss Bridge, or the buffet dinner at Sun Bavaria GastroPub, with views toward the show area. Whether that's worth it comes down to how much you mind the scrum on a busy night.
It caps a Sunset Town evening
The show sits at the end of the Phú Quốc cable car and the Sunset Town promenade, a purpose-built waterfront of restaurants, bars and the Kiss Bridge. Most people make an evening of it — dinner and a wander with the show as the finale — rather than travelling down just for the show. Timed that way, it's a strong close to a night at the southern end of the island.

What is the Symphony of the Sea show?
It's a nightly outdoor spectacle staged over the bay at Sunset Town, on the southern tip of Phú Quốc Island. In one short, fast-moving show it combines music, lasers, projections on water screens, low-level fireworks and live stunts by professional jetski and flyboard riders. It's a modern, high-energy tech show rather than a traditional cultural performance.
Isn't the show free to watch? What does the ticket get me?
Parts of the show are visible from public stretches of the Sunset Town waterfront, since it plays over an open bay. The GetYourGuide ticket gets you into the Sunset Beach viewing area, and two upgrades add a seat: a reserved table at Bacio Restaurant by the Kiss Bridge (food and drinks bought separately), or the buffet dinner at Sun Bavaria GastroPub. On busy nights that's the difference between a clear view and a wall of phones.
How long is it, and what time does it start?
The show is short and runs to a fixed nightly slot, starting around 7:30–7:45 PM. Some visitors note it can start a little late or run slightly shorter than billed, so it's best treated as the punchy finale to an evening rather than a full night's entertainment on its own.
How do I actually get down to Sunset Town?
It's at Sunset Town in An Thới, at the far southern end of Phú Quốc — the same waterfront as the Hòn Thơm cable car and Kiss Bridge. It's a real drive by car or taxi from the Dương Đông area and the northern resorts, and longer from the very top of the island, so it's worth planning the trip down and your ride back in advance.
Is it good for children?
Generally yes — it's colourful, fast and visual, with stunts and fireworks that tend to go down well with kids. The main caveats are that it's genuinely loud, it's on late in the evening, and it's short, so factor in the noise and the timing for very young children.
Can I combine it with other things at Sunset Town?
Easily. Many visitors ride the Hòn Thơm cable car during the day, have dinner along the Sunset Town promenade, and stay for the show, or pair it with the nearby Kiss of the Sea theatre show as a combo ticket. You'll book each one as its own GetYourGuide listing, with the current price for your dates shown before you pay.
